ORDER

This petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondents to register the FIR on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner, dated 12.07.2018.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the prosecution would submit that based on the complaint of the petitioner, a case in Crime No. 135 of 2018 has been registered by the second respondent Police against one Muthukumar for the offence under Sections 294(b), 448, 354 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002.

3. But, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner rightly points out that the averments set out in the complaint attract the offences under Sections 354(A) and 457 IPC also.

4. This Court went to the contents of the complainant and found that the offences under Sections 354(A) and 457 IPC are also clearly attracted. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to file an alteration report incorporating these offences and conduct the investigation in accordance with law. Such an alteration report shall be filed within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
