Respondents PRAYER: The Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to call for the records relating to the Detention Order passed by the second respondent in his proceedings C.No.20/Detention/C.P.O/T.C./2016, dated 15.07.2016 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenue namely Balu @ Dori Balu, S/o Mahalingam, aged 37 years (now detained at Central Prison, Trichy) before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of this Court was delivered by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.) The sister-in-law of the detenue, challenging the legality of the impugned order of detention passed by the second respondent in his proceedings C.No.20/Detention/C.P.O/T.C./2016, dated 15.07.2016, had filed this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Mr.C.Mayilvahana Rajendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the first respondent vide G.O.Rt.No.4124, dated 31.08.2016 has revoked the order of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

detention and also submit a copy of the same, which has been taken on file and recorded.

3. In light of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this Habeas Corpus Petition and accordingly, the same is dismissed.
