: Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records pertaining to the order of detention passed by the third respondent in his proceedings in C.No.B.M.01/Detention/C.P.O./TRC/2016, dated 11.07.2016 and quash the same as illegal and produce the detenu, namely Gunasekaran, son of Palaniyandi, aged about 49 years, now he is confined in Central Prison, Trichy, before this Court and set him at liberty. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) Challenging the detention order passed by the Commissioner of Police, Tiruchirapalli City, in C.No.B.M.01/Detention/C.P.O./ TRC/2016, dated 11.07.2016, ordering to detain one Gunasekaran S/o.Palaniyandi, the petitioner has come up with this Petition. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the above said detention order has already been revoked. The said statement is recorded.

3.In view of the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous and accordingly, the same is dismissed as infructuous.
