Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents to take appropriate action to reimburse the medical expenses and insurance amount to Petitioner, in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court. 1/3

O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order, dated 16.02.2021, made in W.P.(MD) No.2923 of 2021.

2.The learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 & 3 submitted that as per the directions issued by this Court, the first respondent has considered the petitioner's representation and recommended his case to the Divisional Manager, United India Insurance Company for consideration and to that effect, the learned Government Counsel has produced a copy of the proceedings of the District Collector, Madurai, dated 19.08.2021, before this Court.

3.The aforesaid proceedings is taken on record. 4.In view of the above proceedings of the District Collector, the contempt petition is closed. It is open to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy before the concerned Authority, namely, the Divisional Manager, United India Insurance Company.
