O R D E R

The petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.11.2024. In the said representation, the petitioner has made a request for disbursal of higher pension on actual wages.

2. Heard Mr. T. Ravichandran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. N. Dilip Kumar, learned counsel for the respondent.

3. The petitioner retired from service on 30.04.2020 on attaining the age of superannuation and as of today, the pension amount, as requested by the petitioner has not been released.

4. Mr. N. Dilip Kumar, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.11.2024, will be considered by the respondent on merits within a time frame to be framed by this Court. The said submission is taken on record.

5. In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.11.2024, on its own merits and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.

6. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of six

(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. There shall be no order as to costs.
