O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent, to implement the order of the first respondent in letter Cell No.1/PO3/6/10312643/PP0 dated 07/11/2015.

Mr.K.A.Thirumalaiappan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is entitled to Dearness Allowance, based on G.O.Ms.No.363, Finance (PGC) Department, dated 23.07.2013. He further submitted that for the purpose of revised pension, necessary proposal has already been forwarded by first respondent to the third respondent, vide letter, dated 07.11.2014. It is the further case of the petitioner that the petitioner has not been paid the revised https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pension so far, even though a proposal has already been forwarded by the first respondent, to the 3rd respondent.

3. Mr.P.Gunasekaran, the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the first respondent has already forwarded the pension proposal, as per the letter, dated 07.11.2014, to the third respondent and that the third respondent will have to take action on the said proposal.

4. Mr.R.Velmurugan, Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 seeks reasonable time to pay the entire arrears due to the petitioner.

5.Taking note of the fact that necessary proposal has already been forwarded by the first respondent to the 3rd respondent, to consider granting Dearness Allowance to the petitioner, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.363, Finance (PGC) Department, dated 23.08.2013, the 3rd respondent is directed to take effective steps to pass orders regarding revised pension together with arrears, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The pension payable from June 2015, shall be paid from July 2015 onwards.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
