RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for depositing the amount and production of sureties in Crl.O.P(MD)No. 8226 of 2020 dated 06.08.2020 on the file of this Hon'ble Court.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.DEENADHAYALAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate (Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner to execute the sureties and surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that earlier this Court by an order dated 06.08.2020 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner with a condition to deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) to the credit of Madras High Court Madurai Bench, Advocate Clerk's Welfare Association, Madurai625 023, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of that order. Due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation the petitioner is not able to deposit the amount within the time prescribed by this Court and hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

3. Considering the request, time granted by this Court vide order dated 06.08.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.8226 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today.
