ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif, Vedasandur, Dindigul District, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.20 of 2009, within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the first respondent, as plaintiff, has filed the suit in O.S.No.20 of 2009, on 10.12.2008, seeking maintenance, before the District Munsif Court, Vedasandur, Dindigul District, against the petitioner and others. He would further submit that though the petitioner filed his written statement as early as on 13.02.2012, the suit was posted only on 22.10.2017, for framing issues and till date, issues have not yet been framed. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court for the aforesaid prayer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

Notice to the respondents is dispensed with, since the prayer itself is for a limited scope seeking early disposal of the suit.

4. Perusal of record shows that though the petitioner has filed his written statement in the year 2012, the suit, which is of the year 2008, is still kept pending for framing issues.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited scope of the prayer sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the learned District Munsif, Vedasandur, Dindigul District, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.20 of 2009, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS-I) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar(CS-III) To The District Munsif, Vedasandur, Dindigul District.
