Respondent This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the marriage assistance to the petitioner under Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Memorial Marriage Assistance Scheme for the marriage of the petitioner's daughter Revathy conducted on 15.11.2013. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the marriage assistance to the petitioner under Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Memorial Marriage Assistance Scheme for the marriage of the petitioner's daughter, by name Revathy, conducted on 15.11.2013, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 06.04.2015.

2. Mr.S.Satheeshkumar, learned Govt.Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.R.Velmurugan, learned Govt.Advocate takes notice for the third respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
