The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the third respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer / Sub Collector, Trichirapalli City, Trichirapalli District, to pass final orders in a proceedings pending before him in Na.Ka.No.(A7) 6178/2022 dated 01.03.2023.

2. The learned counsel had raised a grievance that a series of summons had been issued by the third respondent for enquiry and that the petitioner has been diligently appearing for the enquiry, but that no further progress had either been indicated or taken or any indication given about the conclusion of the enquiry.

3. Without entering into a discussion on the merits, since the matter is under the purview of the third respondent, a direction is given that within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the third respondent must dispose of the aforementioned proceedings.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
