ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner for cancellation of patta pending in Na.Ka.No.A5/4399/12 dated 11.02.2013 on the file of the second respondent with in the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Mrs.S.Bharathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the appeal of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the appeal will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the appeal of the petitioner, made in Na.Ka.No.A5/4399/12 dated 11.02.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
