Respondent PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Bank to accept the petitioner application based on her remainder letter dated 22.11.2018 and to grant education loan amounting to Rs.4,00,000/- (Four Lakhs only) per year till the petitioner complete her Bachelor of dental Surgery course and any other further appropriate orders in the facts and circumstance of the case.

ORDER

Subject matter of instant writ petition pertains to an application for educational loan by the writ petitioner.

2. This Court is informed that pending writ petition, writ petitioner's father namely S.R.Mohan died and the date of demise is 02.10.2019.

3. Learned counsel for writ petitioner Mr.N.Sundareshan, on instructions submits that writ petitioner will submit a fresh education loan application with writ petitioner's blood brother as co-applicant within one (1) week form today.

4. Mr.K.Govindarajan, learned counsel for sole respondent submits that fresh education loan application if so submitted will be processed and a final decision on the application will be taken within a fortnight from the date of submission.

5. The decision taken shall be communicated to the writ petitioner under due acknowledgment within seven (7) working days from the date of decision.

6. Recording the aforesaid stated position of the parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of by this consent order without expressing any opinion on merits. No costs.
