ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The respondent police registered a case as against this petitioner in Crime No.4 of 2024 for the offence under Sections 8(c), 22(c), 25 and 29(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and remanded him into judicial custody on 25.02.2024. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking bail. 1/3

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 250 gms of Amphetamine, 150 gms of Pseduo ephedrine, 300 gms of While lump like Glucose, 850 gms of White stick whith crystal shape and 4.750 Kgs of White powder with a slight brownish tint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. However, he is languishing in Jail from 25.02.2024.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent opposes for grant of bail on the ground that contraband has been recovered from the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner is arrayed as A3 and the petitioner contacted A1 for 153 times and contacted A4 for 35 times and contacted A5 for 220 times. Hence, he objected to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. This Court considered the rival submissions made.

6. The case was registered on 25.02.2024. The investigation is in crucial stage. Investigation agency has collected CDR from A1, A4 and A5 and have now collected details that the petitioner had frequent contact with A1 for 153 times and with A4 for 35 times and with A5 for 220 times.

7. Since there are some materials collected by the investigation agency and also considering the fact that the investigation is in crucial stage, this Court is not inclined 2/3

to grant bail to the petitioner.
