ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct an enquiry and take appropriate action against respondents 4 to 10 on the complaint of the Petitioner dated 01.06.2022 and further directing the respondents to pay appropriate compensation.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ramanathapuram, in his letter No.P3/4034/2022, dated 03.06.2022, directed 3/7

the Additional District Superintendent of Police, Sivagangai to conduct enquiry upon the petitioner's complaint. In pursuance of that, the Additional District Superintendent of Police, Sivagangai, conducted an enquiry and found that the allegations stated in the petitioner's complaint are false. The Additional District Superintendent of Police also verified the Durga Lodge register and found that the alleged occurrence was not taken place. Hence the complaint was closed.

3.Recording the same, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to pursuade upon the report filed by the Additional District Superintendent of Police, Sivagangai. 4.Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 29.08.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No lr 4/7
