ORDER

This revision has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.56 of 2009 on the file of the Sub Court, Devakkottai, within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr. A. Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the 3rd respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent would submit that they are leaving into the discretion of the Court.

4. The main contention of the revision petitioners is that they are Senior Citizens and that therefore, this case has to be expedited. The fact remains that the suit has been filed only in the year 2019. The High Court has already issued Circulars to the District Judiciary directing the Courts to give priority for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

C.R.P(MD).No.1025 of 2021 cases relating to the Senior Citizens, HIV affected persons, Defence personnel, women and children etc., The revision petitioners without approaching the trial Court has directly approached this Court. In the absence of total pending particulars and the work burden of that particular Court, this Court is not inclined to give any direction to dispose of the case within the specified period of time.

5. However, the trial Court is required to give priority to the cases, as per the Circulars of the High Court. The revision petitioners are at liberty to approach the trial Court for early disposal and if such a requisition is made, the learned Judge is directed to consider the same on the ground of Senior Citizenship, for early trial.

6. With the above observation and direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
