No.5927 of 2020 in and by its order dt.11.6.2020. Order :This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.A.SIVASUBRAMANIAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioners to execute the sureties and surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that earlier this Court by an order, dated 11.06.2020 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners on condition to surrender before the concerned Court within a period of eight weeks. Due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioners are not in a position to appear before the concerned Court and produce the sureties and hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

3. Considering the request, time granted by this Court vide order dated 11.06.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.5927 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today.
