To call for records pertaining to the order in CRRP.No.24/2020 dt.15.4.2021 passed by the Learned Additional District Sessions Court (Fast Track Court) at Kumbakonam,confirming the order in MC.No.14/2018 dated.17.03.2020 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate,Thanjavur at Kumbakonam and set aside the same. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.R.NARAYANAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.A.N.RAMANATHAN, on behalf of the Respondents 1 to 3, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to direct learned District Munsif -cum- Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvidaimaruthur, to receive the Demand Draft bearing No.435136, dated 26.5.2022 drawn on Canara https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.M.P.(MD)No.6754 of 2022 Bank, Aduthurai(1202) Branch for a sum of Rs.2,50,000/-(Rupees Two Lakhs and Fifty Thousand only).

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that while granting stay in the Crl.M.P.(MD)No.5343 of 2022 in Crl.O.P(MD)No.7854 of 2022, dated 28.04.2022, this Court had directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.2,50,000/-, by way of demand draft to the first respondent's wife, viz., S.Nagalakshmi, on or before 30.05.2022. On that condition, interim stay has been granted.

3.Now, the petitioner has filed this petition, seeking for a direction to deposit the said amount before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvidaimaruthur, as there is no specific direction in the order.

4.Recording the same, I hereby direct the learned District Munsif -cum- Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvidaimaruthur to receive the Demand Draft bearing No.435136, dated 26.5.2022 drawn on Canara Bank, Aduthurai(1202) Branch for a sum of Rs.2,50,000/-(Rupees Two Lakhs and Fifty thousand only), to the credit of Crl.M.P.No.1347 of 2020 in M.C.No.14 of 2020, pending on his file. The interim order already granted by this Court in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.5343 of 2022, dated 28.04.2022 is made absolute.
