Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) reports that Kumbabisegam festival for Arulmighu Muthumariamman Temple and Vinai Theerkkum Vinayagar Temple, has been peacefully conducted after the parties arrived at settlement and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.
