PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the fifth respondent to take necessary action with regard tot he petitioner's representation dated 26.04.2024, within stipulated time may be fixed by this Court, which is relating to seeking police protection for the peaceful conduct of Sri Vinayakar, Sri Bhagavati Amman, Sri Mariamman, Sri Muthalamman, Sri Kaliamman Urchava Vizha scheduled to be conducted from 26.05.2024 to 30.05.2024 at P.Kosavapatti, Padiyur, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking police protection for the peaceful conduct of Sri Vinayakar, Sri Bhagavati Amman, Sri Mariamman, Sri Muthalamman, Sri Kaliamman Urchava Vizha 2/4

scheduled to be conducted from 26.05.2024 to 30.05.2024 at P.Kosavapatti, Padiyur, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.04.2024. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that based on the representation of the petitioner, the fifth respondent conducted an enquiry. During the course of such enquiry, the parties have amicably resolved their issue and agreed to conduct the festival peacefully. Therefore, the fifth respondent is also ready to give necessary police protection to the festival.
