ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader. who takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to regularize his service as pipeline operator in the fourth respondent Panchayat from the date of his appointment. He has also made a representation on 27.11.2014 seeking for such relief to the respondents. Therefore, it is for the respondents more particularly, the second respondent to consider such request and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.

3.That being the factual position, this Court is not expressing any view on the merits and the contentions raised by the petitioner seeking for regularisation at this stage. However, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.11.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
