This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent, to direct the 2nd respondent to appoint the petitioner permanently as Assistant Professor in Tamil at Government Arts and Science College, Sathankulam, based on the representation, dated 23.03.2019, within time to be fixed by this Court.

3. The prayer sought for in the writ petition is for issuing positive direction to appoint the petitioner as Assistant Professor in Tamil.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 4th respondent is calling for new applicants to fill up the vacancies before 24.05.2019.

5. By taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petitioner is permitted to participate in the selection process. The respondents shall consider the candidature of the petitioner, in accordance with law.
