: Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission for celebration of temple festival of Arulmighu Vadabathrakaliamman Temple, Tiruvengadam Taluk, Tirunelveli with cultural and musical programmes from 31.07.2018 to 01.08.2018 upto 12.00 p.m.

ORDER

The petitioner moved the third respondent seeking permission to celebrate the temple festival in question. In fact, such a permission is intended to be accorded, but, it appears that the third respondent has made it clear that he will not permit holding the function up to 12.00 p.m.

2.Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that traditionally, they have been conducting the programme up to 12.00 p.m.

3.Taking into account the aforesaid submission, the third respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to hold the programme in question which will conclude by 12.00 p.m. sharp. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.With this direction, the Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
