Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to release the petitioner's new vehicle of Tractor and Trailer in serial No.MBNADANBEHNH 02439, Engine Number NHH6 CAE 0626 from the custody of the second respondent police and to hand over the above vehicle to the petitioner, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2018 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted on behalf of the respondents that on payment of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only), the vehicle shall be ordered to be released in favour of the petitioner. He further submitted that there was no case against the petitioner.
2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made on behalf of the respondents, the following direction is issued :
"(a)the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) in favour https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of the first respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;
(b)on such deposit being made, the first respondent is directed to release the vehicle seized by the second respondent forthwith without any further delay, which is now under the custody of the first respondent; (c)in case, no such deposit is made, the present order shall stand vacated automatically without further reference to this Court."
3. With these directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
