ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the unauthorized passing of High voltage transmission line in the Petitioners property based on the representation dated 18.05.2019.

In this case, a counter affidavit has been filed by the second respondent, wherein in para 7, it has been held as follows:- "(7) I further submit that as per the note approval issued by the Chairman / TANTRANSCO, dated 08.12.2017, Technical Branch, Transmission Corporation has issued proceedings No.301 on 13.12.2017, by adopting the guidelines issued by the Government of Tamilnadu vide, G.O, (Ms), No.63, dated 22.11.2017- Energy Department, regarding payment of compensation for diminution of the land value due to the erection of transmission line tower and it was clarified by Letter (Ms)No.41/A1/2018, dated 16.05.2018. Accordingly the 4th respondent had paid Rs. 70,000/- to the petitioner and Rs.3,75,000/- to the petitioner's Mother and Brother towards compensation for line crossing of Tower No.9 & 10 in the petitioner's land through Axis Bank Cheque dated 07.02.2019 and Cash by his Sub agent T.M.M. Constructions on behalf of Sterling and Wilson Solar Pvt.Ltd., and it was accepted by the petitioner."

3. In the light of the above, this writ petition is not maintainable, as the petitioner has already received compensation. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
