O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of Natham patta and in this regard, the petitioner has already approached this Court in W.P(MD)No.5741 of 2020. This Court, by an order, dated 04.10.2023 directed the respondents to pass orders on the petitioner's application.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate submits that in pursuance of the said order of this Court, the District Revenue Officer has forwarded the papers to the Revenue Divisional Officer and in turn, the Revenue Divisional Officer has called for report from Tahsildar.

4. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the 4th respondent to forward the necessary reports to the District Revenue Officer within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On receipt of the said report, the 2nd respondent shall pass final orders on the petitioner's application for issuance of natham patta, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of report.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
