: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1 to 4 respondents not to lay any thar road in the natural water channel existed in S.F.No. 273 & 271 situated in Punjai Thottakurichi Village, Pugaloor Tk, Karur District and restore the same in its original position for free flow of rain water based on the representations dated 22.03.2022 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) Alleging that Tar road being constructed in a natural water channel in S.F.No.273 and 271 situated in Punjai Thottakurichi Village, Pugaloor TK, Karur District, the present Public Interest Litigation has been filed for stopping the same.

3. Even according to the revenue records that have been submitted by the petitioner along with the typed set of papers, S.Nos.273 and 271 are classified as cart track. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that tender was called for for putting up a Tar road in S.F.Nos.273 and 271 and the work is likely to be commenced and at this juncture, the present petition is a vexatious one and deserves to be dismissed with costs.
4. Taking into consideration the fact that S.Nos.273 and 271 have been classified as cart track, we find no merits in this public interest litigation and therefore, the same is dismissed. No costs.
