The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to recover the petitioner's vehicle bearing registration number TN-69AK 3170 from 4th respondent on the basis of the petitioner complaint in C.S.R.No.166/2023 dated 14.03.2023 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent and handed over the same to the petitioner.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner to recover the vehicle bearing registration No.TN-69AK 3170, enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, it was found that agreement was entered into between the petitioner and one G.Maruthi Karthikeyan by leasing out the above said vehicle. The said G.Maruthi Karthikeyan, failed to pay the lease amount and also refused to hand over the vehicle. 2/4
3. Considering the fact that the issue between the vendor and the lessor, this Court directs the petitioner to approach the concerned Court for seeking appropriate relief.
With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
