ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent to give necessary police protection to the petitioner to carry out the earmarking proceedings in S.No.117/3B2, Mangalarev Privu, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.09.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that already there is a suit pending between the petitioner and the fifth respondent. In fact, the petitioner filed an application before the revenue authorities to survey the land in which the police protection is sought for.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 08.09.2020 and the same is still pending.

4. Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint dated 08.09.2020 after issuing notice to the petitioner and the fifth respondent, conduct enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
