ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.I.PINAYGASH, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.A.K.BASKARAPANDIAN, Special Government Pleader on behalf of the Respondents, the court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN,J) https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ The matter in issue pertains to the non-disbursal of funds to 216 beneficiaries, despite the fact that they have been identified

for construction of houses under "Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Scheme (PMAY Scheme).

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that a representation dated 11.01.2019 submitted in this regard, has failed to invoke any kind of response. Therefore, the petitioner, being a member of the majority political party and being a social worker for the upliftment of the poor people, is constrained to approach this Court by filing this Writ Petition.

3. Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents seeks time to get further instructions as to the identification, eligibility or otherwise of 216 beneficiaries, who are represented by this writ petitioner as the Public Interest Litigant.
