Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent in connection with the impugned order of rejection passed by him in his Proceedings Na.Ka.No.A2/1226/2020, dated 25.06.2021 and quash the same as arbitrary and consequently direct the Respondents to extend the fishing rights in Periyapandi Konar Tank situated at Mullikulam Panchayat, Vasudevanallur Panchayat Union, for the present Fasli year 1431 i.e. 01.07.2021 to 30.06.2022.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned proceedings of the second respondent dated 25.06.2021 refusing to extend the license of the petitioner for fishing rights.

2. This Court does not find any illegality or infirmity in the impugned proceedings issued by the second respondent. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the auction is slated to be held tomorrow (16.07.2021) and the petitioner has also submitted his bid to participate in the auction.

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief as sought for by the petitioner and accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
