: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct Valli Thirumana Nadakam, Musical Programme and other temple functions in Arulmigu Sri Seguttu Ayyanar temple festival, Manappacheri, Melur Taluk, Madurai District on 31.07.2018 to 03.08.2018 by considering the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 17.07.2018 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner intends to conduct Valli Thirumana Nadakam, and a musical programme in connection with Arulmigu Sri Seguttu Ayyanar temple festival on 01.08.2018. In this regard, he has already given a representation dated 17.07.2018. 2.This Court directs the second respondent to grant permission for holding such an event. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate appropriate conditions, taking into account the local situation.

4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
