O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner complaining willful disobedience of the order dated 24.06.2025, in W.P.(MD) No.16873 of 2025, passed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu appearing for the respondent, placed before this Court a copy of the Government Order vide G.O.(2D) No. 276, Home (Police-IV) Department, dated 29.06.2026, which has been purportedly passed in compliance of the orders passed by this Court.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner, having perused the said Government Order, has not raised any serious objection.

4. In the light of the above, this contempt petition is closed. 30.06.2026 NCC :
