Respondent/Complainant For Petitioner : Mr.SATHYACHIDAMBARAM, Advocate For Respondent : Mr.B.THANGA ARAVINDH, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 114/2024 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.114 of 2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 307 and 506(ii) IPC, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, on 20.03.2024, the 1/3

accused has quarrelled with the defacto complainant's sons. When the defacto complainant has questioned the same, the accused has attacked her using aruval and threatened her with dire consequences. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submits that due to civil dispute, the defacto complainant has foisted this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that three cases in Crime Nos.21 of 2022, 44 of 2023 and 40 of 2024 are registered as against the petitioner, which are pending before the respondent police station and in this case, the injured was discharged from the hospital.

5. Considering the antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
