O R D E R

This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mudukulathore to expedite the trial in C.C.No.131 of 2017 and complete it within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.42 of 2015 for the offence under Sections 147, 294(b), 341, 323, 353 and 506(i) of IPC on the file of the first respondent. Subsequently, the case was taken on file in C.C.No.131 of 2017 and the same is pending. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that since the criminal case is pending against him, the petitioner has not involved in his business activities. Hence, he seeks six months time to dispose the aforesaid case, in C.C.No.131 of 2017, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Mudukulathore.

4.According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondents shall co-operate for the trial by adducing the written documents and witnesses in the aforesaid case. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mudukulathore to dispose the case in C.C.No.131 of 2017, in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
