PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying this Court to direct the second respondent herein to provide Police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and for doing his business (Pandiyan Furniture Company) in Paravai II Bit Village bearing Old Survey No.313/5 UDR Survey No.86/5. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein to provide Police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and for doing his business (Pandiyan Furniture Company) in Paravai II Bit Village bearing Old Survey No.313/5 UDR Survey No.86/5.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondents 3 to 5 were frequently quarrelled with the petitioner and threatened him. In pursuance of the continuous quarrel with the respondents 3 to 5, the petitioner gave a complaint to the respondent Police on 09.05.2022. 3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the enquiry is going on. Both the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 5 are relatives. There is a civil dispute between the parties with regard to purchasing of some properties by the petitioner.

4. I have considered the matter in the light of the submission made by the learned counsels for both the parties. There is a dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 5 with regard to purchasing of the properties by the petitioner by way of sale deed. In this regard, the petitioner gave a complaint on 09.05.2022 which is under enquiry. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that all the parties are being relatives and the matter is civil in nature and the enquiry is under process.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the second respondent to dispose the complaint given by the petitioner on 09.05.2022 and take appropriate action.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
