2. The petitioner is a senior citizen. He had filed a petition under Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007 for canceling the settlement deed executed by him. 3.It is seen that the settlement deed was executed way back in the year 1989. Therefore under the aforesaid Act, the petitioner may not be able to get any relief regarding the cancelation. But then, the competent authority can very well grant the other reliefs sought for by the petitioner. It is seen that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ramanathapuram is the authority competent to grant relief to the petitioner. Therefore, the respondent/Tahsildhar, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District is directed to forward the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2020 to the competent authority, namely, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ramanathapuram. This shall be done immediately and without any delay. The competent authority shall issue notice to the petitioner's son and dispose of the petitioner's application within a period of eight (8) weeks thereafter, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
