Respondents Prayer:This Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to do sub-division and for issuance of separate patta to the petitioner's property situated at in survey No.57/11, Chinthamani Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District, Madurai-9 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2020 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the third respondent to do sub-division and for issuance of separate patta to the petitioner's property situated at in survey No.57/11, Chinthamani Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District, Madurai9 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2020, within a time frame.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in possession of survey No.57/11 situated in Chinthamani Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District. The petitioner made a representation dated 07.01.2020 for subdivision of the above said property. Since, no action has been initiated, the petitioner is before this Court.

W.P.(MD)No.11724 of 2020 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the revision petition filed by the petitioner dated 07.01.2020 is directed to be considered by the authority concerned.

4.In the light of the aforesaid submissions, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, is inclined to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2020 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing opportunity to the parties concerned. 5.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
