PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, directing the respondent No.1 to instruct the respondent No.2 herein to not to harass the petitioner on the guise of the enquiry in pursuance to the complaint lodged by the third respondent. O RDER This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent Police to instruct the second respondent herein to not to harass the petitioners on the guise of the enquiry in pursuance to the complaint lodged by the third respondent.

2. The case of the petitioners is that due to money dispute pending between the petitioners and the third respondent, the third respondent made a complaint before the second respondent Police and the second respondent Police frequently asked the petitioners for enquiry and harassed them on the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petitioners made a detailed representation to the first respondent. But the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the present petition has been filed.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the enquiry has been conducted and closed on 18.02.2022.

4. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this Criminal Original Petition and the same stands dismissed 2/4

Liberty is granted to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
