The prayer in the Writ Petition is a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue corrected mark statement, to the daughter of the petitioner, viz., Ananthi Selvi, in her Higher Secondary Mark Statement, in Registration No.131489, by adding 3 marks in Biology paper, total 180 marks, instead of 177.

2.Mr.V.Muruganandam, the learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Muruganandam, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, has produced a xerox copy of the corrected mark statement of the petitioner. He further submitted that the original corrected mark sheet has been sent to the petitioner.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that in view of erroneous total of the marks, she is ranked below in the B.Sc., Agriculture. The case of the petitioner will have to be considered, based on the new mark sheet, which has been corrected by the respondent.

5. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
