COMMON PRAYER : Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records relating to the impugned circular issued by the second respondent Director of Medical Education in Ref.No.4053/E3/1/2019-TC dated 24.05.2019, quash, in so far as it identifying the petitioners' (in WP(MD)Nos.12692 & 12693/2019) post of Senior Resident/Assistant Professor and the petitioner's (in WP(MD)No.12694/2019)post of Assistant Surgeon (Maternity Wing/High Risk Mother Observation) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Madurai Medical College in AnnexureII of the circular as excess and consequently instructing the petitioners to attend the counselling scheduled to be held on 03.06.2019.
