RESPONDENTS/RESPONDENTS Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to temporarily release the detenue named Ramesh Babu @ KSR Ramesh, aged 38, S/o.Sankaran, now detained in the Central Prison, Trichy. (P.D.O.No.25/2021 dated 10/05/2021) from 23/07/2021 to 28/07/2021 for the purpose of organizing and attending the puberty function of his daughter pending HCP(MD) No.800 of 2021. Prayer in HCP(MD) No.800/ 2021 :

Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court will be pleased to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records from the second respondent in P.D.O.No.25/2021 dated 10.05.2021 by setting aside the said order of detention passed by the second respondent and setting the detenue, Ramesh Babu @ KSR Ramesh, aged 38, S/o.Sankaran, at liberty now detained in the Central Prison,Trichy. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon

perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.V.KATHIRVELU, Senior Counsel for Mr.MATHAVAN.G, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.S.RAVI, Standing Counsel for State on behalf of the Respondents, the Court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM.,J) This Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to temporarily release the detenu named, Ramesh Babu @ KSR Ramesh, aged 38 years, son of Sankaran, now detained in the Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli(P.D.O.No.25of 2021, dated 10.05.2021) from 23.07.2021 to 28.07.2021, for the purpose of organizing and attending the puberty function of his daughter, pending disposal of above Habeas Corpus Petition. 2.Heard Mr.V.Kathirvelu, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mrs.S.Ravi, learned Standing Counsel for the State appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Petition.

4.In view of the above-said submission, this Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
