ORDER

The petitioner with a grievance that her application submitted before the Tahsildar, Attur Taluk, for cancellation of the patta granted in favour of the 4th respondent is not considered so far, has filed this writ petition.

2.When the writ petition has been taken up for hearing the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that based on the petitioner's application enquiry was conducted twice. However, the petitioner has not produced the necessary documents. Therefore, they could not proceed further with the petitioner's application. The application of the petitioner has been forwarded to the 2nd respondent RDO with whom the issue is now pending.

3.Considering that the enquiry is pending with the 2nd respondent to take a decision, the 2nd respondent is directed to proceed with the enquiry and conclude the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of interested parties.

4.The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
