O R D E R

This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate at Melur to expeditiously complete the Committal Proceedings in P.R.C.No.53 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate at Melur in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a case has been registered in Crime No.125 of 2010 for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 452, 324, 427, 506(ii) and 307 of I.P.C @ 147, 148, 452, 324, 326, 427, 506(ii) and 307 r/w 34 of I.P.C and to that effect, a charge sheet has filed in C.C.No.13 of 2012 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur and the same was taken on file in P.R.C.No.53 of 2016. Since the aforesaid committal proceeding is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the summons has to be served to the third accused in the aforesaid committal proceedings. Hence, he seeks time for serving the summons to the aforesaid accused. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur

to dispose of the committal Proceedings in P.R.C.No.53 of 2016, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
