ORDER

The proceedings sought to be transferred is a Domestic Violence Case in D.V.C.No.19 of 2014, on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thanjavur.

2.I am of the prima facie opinion that Section 24 of the Civil Procedure Code cannot be invoked to transfer a proceeding initiated under the Code of Criminal Procedure. 3.Hence the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed, with liberty to the Petitioner to move the appropriate Court for transfer. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
