Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to refund the petitioner's matured deposit amount sum of 5 lakhs along with interest at the rate of 7.5 % per annum and his savings amount sum of Rs.2,10,190/- with interest in A/c.No.4572, based upon his legal notice dated 13.03.2019.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the following relief : "To direct the respondents 2 and 3 to refund the petitioner's matured deposit amount sum of 5 lakhs along with interest at the rate of 7.5 % per annum and his savings amount sum of Rs.2,10,190/- with interest in A/c.No.4572, based upon his legal notice dated 13.03.2019."

2. It is informed by the learned Special Government Pleader that the petitioner is no more and his son has received half of the amount claimed and the remaining amount will be paid by the 2nd respondent Society.

3. Recording the same, this writ petition stands disposed of, with a direction to the 2nd respondent to disburse the remaining amount to the
