Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating with the impugned order passed by the first respondent in R.No.16049/E4/S1/2022-151, dated 14.05.2022 and quash the same as it is illegal and in consequence to direct him to retain the petitioner in the Primary Health Centre, Chekkanoorani in Madurai District.

ORDER
By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The impugned order under challenge is an order of transfer posting the petitioner from the Primary Health Centre, Chekkanurani to the office of the Deputy Director of Health Services, Virudhunagar.
3. A perusal of the impugned order reveals that the transfer and posting was made at the request of the petitioner herein during https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD).No.11671 of 2022 the General Transfer Counselling. The petitioner herein has also admitted this in his affidavit. Since the transfer was made on his request, the present grounds raised by the petitioner challenging the transfer order cannot be sustained.
4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is another employee of the Primary Health Centre, who intends to come to his place and that his request for mutual transfer may be considered.
5. In the light of above observation, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is granted liberty to make an application to the concerned respondent seeking for mutual transfer and on receipt of the same, the concerned respondent shall consider it, in accordance with the norms for consideration of such mutual transfer, within a period of two (2) weeks thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
