PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.61 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners /A2 and A3 who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.03.2023 for the offence under section 392 of IPC in Crime No.61 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners said to have snatched 2 1⁄2 sovereigns of gold chain from the defacto complainant and stolen a sum of Rs.73,000/- from his and fled away, hence the case.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report. It is reported that five previous cases are pending against the first petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

4. It is seen that the petitioners are habitual offenders and they have committed similar offences. In the present case there are totally four accused in this case and the petitioners herein are arrayed as A2 and A3. They have snatched 2 1⁄2 sovereigns of gold chain and stolen a sum of Rs.73,000/- from the defacto complainant. Further they were arrested only on 23.03.2023. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the previous bad antecedents of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
