ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the respondents to to remove the encroachments made in the road situated in Survey Nos. 30/232, 233, 234, 235, 236, 237, 238, 239 and 240 situated at Zamin Kollankondan Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District. 2/6

2.The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that a survey has been conducted, encroachments have been identified and notices under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 have been issued vide proceedings dated 31.07.2025, affording due opportunity to the encroachers to submit their explanations. On receipt of the explanations, the same will be considered and a final decision will be taken by following the procedures as contemplated under the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. If encroachments are finalized, they will be removed. 3.In view of the said submissions, the official respondents are directed to complete the enforcement actions, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
