This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, direct the respondents to grant permission for conducting Min Vizhaku Alangaaram Kavadi procession on 05.05.2023 and cultural program on 06.05.2023 at Arulmigu Sivagami Ammal Temple situated at Shenbagapuram, Sundaravalanadu, Papanasam taluk, Thanjavur District, by considering petitione's representation dated 20.04.2023.

2. Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that due to some disputes between two group of people, five First Information Reports have been filed and there is some apprehension of breach of peace in the area.

4. I have considered the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents.

5. In view of the submission made by either side, the second respondent may consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same on merits. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the result, he may work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
