O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner forbearing the 2nd respondent from interfering with the lawful day today activities of their association, namely, Royal Green Recreation Club without following the due process of law based on his representation dated 08.04.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the president of the Royal Green Recreation Club and the same was registered under the Societies Registration Act in registration no. S.I.No.SRG/Palani/43/2023. While so, on 20.03.2025, the 2nd respondent entered into the office premises and interfered in and out recreation activities and also instructed the office bearers of the club to appear before him. Thereafter, they have also appeared before him and made to wait for a long time and no enquiry was conducted. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation on 08.04.2025, but no action was taken. Therefore, he has filed this petition. Page No. 2 of 4

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that the respondents have received information that in the said club, they have played rummy with money and thereby for enquiry purpose, they visited the club. They have not harassed the petitioner as alleged by them and the enquiry is also pending. In the meantime, the petitioner has also sent a representation dated 08.04.2025, but the same is also been pending for enquiry.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, this Court recording the above said submission of the 2nd respondent directs him to conduct enquiry on the complaint and dispose of the same along with the representation of petitioner dated 08.04.2025 within one week from the date of this order.

5. With the above said observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
